My name is Brenda Posie and I am a full-time, full-service Realtor with The Michael Stuart Webb Team at RE/Max Chay Realty Inc. I am also a member of both the Toronto and Barrie Real Estate Boards. These memberships afford me a competitive edge by allowing me the ability to access property listing information, and sold data, across all of Simcoe County and the GTA. Additionally, my dynamic background makes me a real estate powerhouse, with the skills and resources, to exceed all of your expectations. I grew up in the small rural community of Crown Hill, just on the outskirts of Barrie. My experiences there have contributed to my deep appreciation, and love, for this region and the City of Barrie in particular. Being raised in the Barrie area has provided me with a knowledge of the area that few can rival; benefiting my Clients by providing them with a well-informed perspective about this fantastic city and all that it, and the surrounding areas, have to offer.
Aside from my professional endeavors, I have a particular passion for horses and all things equestrian. In fact, my first job was training Standardbred horses as ‘Roadsters’ in the show circuit. I even spent some time working as a farrier. Eventually my penchant for horses took me west to Alberta for a number of years. There I worked in a draft horse barn training teams of Belgian horses for the heavy horse pulls at the Calgary Stampede and other local fairs and exhibitions. As I got older, I decided that a career as a heavy equipment operator might be a safer occupation and so I pursued my certification as a backhoe and excavator operator. I spent many years afterwards in landscape construction and maintenance. All told, hard and honest work is in my blood, as is my willingness to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty. Needless to say, this physically demanding work led to the decision to once again, redefine my skills. With that in mind, I subsequently pursued a rewarding career in real estate as a Sales Representative.
As a committed Realtor with a passion for learning, I am always working toward providing exemplary service to my Clients. It is important to me that I continue to hone my skills and so I have sought out additional accreditation to supplement my existing knowledge. I am now an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
I am committed to my Clients and work tirelessly, prioritizing them always, to ensure that their needs are met in a caring, fun, and insightful way; all the while providing whatever resources are required to ensure that they have what they need to make informed decisions.
