Who is Michael Stuart Webb?

First and foremost, we are a sales and marketing company with heart, whose sole focus is on effectively representing your best interests during the sale or purchase of your home.  Buying and selling a home is, without question, a very stressful time in one’s life and represents the culmination of your life’s work to date. Your decisions about buying and selling a home will profoundly affect your finances, your family and your lifestyle.  My clients deserve that recognition and to be treated as though it was my own investment hanging in the balance. In my view, it is paramount, and in the best interests of my clients, that we build a relationship soundly founded in trust.  Trust is something that is earned however and blossoms only after getting to know someone.  It is critical that you know, and have faith in, the individual who is representing your interests.  With that in mind, I offer a little insight into who Michael Stuart Webb is, and why I feel that I am able to offer you a superior level of service, all the while protecting your interests and your investment.

I hail from a strong business background and earned my stripes in the world of corporate finance.  I spent over 20 years in both private and public accounting; most recently running the Canadian finance offices for a multi-million dollar international public company.  The years I spent in this field taught me much about what it takes to be a successful negotiator, to effectively resolve conflict and what it means to be a highly qualified communicator that gets results.  You may ask yourself why I left a successful career in finance to pursue a career in real estate; frankly I would too.  While I am grateful for the foundation my career in finance has provided me, it lacked heart and an opportunity to make a difference in my community and in the lives of my neighbours. I am passionate about my community and the human connection.  It is this dedication to pursuing a more meaningful relationship with my community that has led me to a career real estate.  Confucius said; if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.  I am one of the fortunate who now does what they love.

Being a consumer myself, I fully appreciate how essential it is to have a dedicated and loyal advocate when marketing and negotiating your real estate transaction.  This is a commitment I take to heart and honour; pledging to defend your best interests every step of the way.  Possessing firsthand and personal experience in both the urban and rural markets, having bought and sold my own urban and rural properties, I am adeptly able to represent your best interests regardless of the type of property you are interested in buying or selling.
