365 Days in Horse Country – The Hoof Beats On!

As 2014 now sits perched on the edge of its predecessor, poised and politely awaiting the bell to toll its last chime of the year before launching us all into another, I am reminded of what an incredible year 2013 has been.  This past year has seen much change for some of us and I am honoured to have been a part of some of those positive changes in your lives; in the same way that many of you have participated in the rewarding changes in mine.

One of those positive changes in my life has been the opportunity to contribute to the horse community through this blog series.  Oftentimes, these blogs have sparked some wonderful dialogue, turning the teacher into the student.  I thank each of you for taking the time out of you busy days to read, and influence, the scope of the series in such a positive way and fulfilling way.

I am happy to say that, due to the overwhelming response to the blog series, I will not be winding it down in conjunction with the end of the year, as was previously intended. Rather, at the request of many of you, I will be continuing to run it for the foreseeable future.  This said, “365 Days in Horse Country” will go from a daily post to a weekly one. I invite each of you to offer topic suggestions that are relevant to you and that would afford us all an opportunity to continue learning and growing as horse folks.

In closing, I would like to wish you all, including your hooved companions, the warmest wishes for a healthy, joyful, rewarding, and prosperous new year.

Thank you all for remaining such a positive influence in my life, and in each other’s.

Michael
