I spent most of my formative years growing up in Simcoe County, the Hockley Valley area to be precise. I grew up on acreage and loved every moment of it; the sights, the sounds, the inspired sense of community. These years helped me formulate a deep appreciation for our region and all that it has to offer. Simcoe County is a unique place, and in my view, unlike any other region in Ontario. Aside from the unabashed beauty, and the quality of life that it affords us all, it has given me the opportunity to develop some long-lasting and formative relationships with many of the people with whom I am blessed to call friends today; many of whom are former Clients.
I also spent a number of years living and working in Toronto. Toronto is a magical place and offers its residents incredible opportunities to live and work immersed in culture, and an enviable standard of life. My years and experiences in Toronto have taught me much about balance and finding that elusive equilibrium.
I returned home to Simcoe County approximately 10 years ago where I now live with my partner on our horse farm in Clearview. Horses have always played a large role in my life and where I seek refuge, and go to calm my mind after a long day. As a horseperson, and a horse farm owner, I have spent many years firmly rooted within the equestrian community. This first-hand experience, in conjunction with my formal education in the Equine Studies Program at the University of Guelph, have led to being acknowledged as one of the few recognized authorities in the field of equestrian real estate in the Province. Additionally, and with my knowledge and experience in agricultural property, I am humbled to also be considered an expert in the field of agricultural real estate as well.
Prior to launching my career in real estate some ten years ago, I hailed from a corporate financial background and spent over 20 years in private and public accounting. My experience in the corporate world has taught me much about what it means to be a successful negotiator, and what it means to be a highly effective communicator who gets results. My life experiences to date, have helped formulate a deep appreciation and understanding of the rural, agricultural and residential real estate markets, all the while having a solid business background from which to draw.

Aside from our professional accomplishments, I am also very proud of our Team commitment to the communities in which we live, and our dedication to improving the lives of those who have been less fortunate. I am passionate about community and the human connection. It is this dedication to pursuing more meaningful relationships with our community that has led me to a career real estate in the first place. Confucius said; if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. I am one of the fortunate who now does what they love.
